Factory setting via USB stick

It is possible to reset the entire device to the factory settings using a USB stick or to reset only the network settings.

To do this, a text file with the root password must be saved on the first partition of a USB stick (FAT32 or EXT4 file system).

The file name determines what is reset: networkreset or factoryreset are possible options.

Before the settings are deleted, they are copied to the USB stick as a backup.

After the reset, the respective job file with the password is deleted so that the reset only takes place once. The device is then restarted.

With the option allow_factory_reset_by_usb_stick=false in the configuration file /sdi/config/omDeviceManager.ini, the feature can be completely deactivated if required.
